I think it all starts as flash; I picked some images, concepts, and ideas and told Matt to figure it out. I gave him some koi, buddha, and lotus but he put it together and made it a half sleeve.
I think its almost too difficult to come up with something brand new, something that hasn't been done. His color choice, his talent, my money...
Marco Bratt website, Betty Boner (deviant art) had some great pieces as inspiration. Can't wait for it to be done...
Hmm cool I gotta admit, comin up with sleeves and half sleeves tend to be a pain in the arse, especialy when the customer is picky! dA has loads of good stuff on it for inspiration, like I tend to take parts from different submittions to make new doodles
Can't wait to see it when it's all finished
Wish I could draw - it's just much easier for me to just pick, point, and pay...
I'm certain that everyone wants an original tattoo - I'm just not sure it's fair for the actual artist to have to come up with it...
I wish I could take it lower on the arm - I'm just not at that point in my life yet. People still expect me to be "business like" Whatever that is...
Why not get a dragon somewhere on your body, near the koi fish? Japanese folklore says that the koi fish swam up a mountain and found the "Dragon Gate", accidently of course. It jumped through it and hey presto, instant dragon!
Can mean alot to some people. Can be interpated different ways
I've thought hard about a dragon; though I'm not sure exactly where to put it. I'm going to finish the koi and buddha inside arm, then go to work on my middle back. I have to find a way to dress it up with some wind, cherry blossoms...I don't want too much on my back, but I have to come up with something...good comment; thanks. I'll continue to update; the buddha gets finished on June 5...
Hmm.. Well how bout a dragon, with some wind spirilin round it, ya know, speratin the body sort of thing? Maybe have your cherry blossoms in the background? I'd maybe just make that for the top half of your back though..? Fuck knows, just anouther thought
So you're not the actual tattoo artist then? Just the canvas?
